Do I have to be a member to participate?The Walleye Open (April 20, 2024) does not require you to be a member. However, the Walleye Twilight Series, the Bass Twilight Series and the Bass Full Day Series including the Championship requires you to a paid and active member.

How old do you have to be to particpate?We have a High School / Youth division of our club for those under 18 still in school. Our adult club is for those 18 years +

I registered for an event but now I can't make it.Contact the Tournament Director to let them know. Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds for entry fees and they are non-transferable to another participant.

I'm not a professional Bass Angler can I join?Absolutely! Our entire mission as a grass-roots B.A.S.S organization is to learn and grow together. Everyone within the club comes from a variety of backgrounds and fishing experience.

What is the High School Club about?We have a High School Club that follows the same framework as the B.A.S.S High School as well as OBN High School division. These young anglers can compete to make Team Ontario and compete within the B.A.S.S High School tournaments. What is the cost to join the Border City Bassmasters?To join the club it is $100 per year non-refundable.

How do I register for an event?Registration is extremely simple! Go to "Register" page. Click on the event you wish to register in, fill out the form and submit payment. Our Tournament Director team / Executive team will reach out with more details as each event gets closer to the date.

Do I need a boat to join?No! Our current club membership is a 50/50 split between boaters and non-boaters. Sign up for an event and our tournament director will randomly pair you with a boater for the event. Note; that boaters & non-boaters will only fish together once during the season to keep it fair and the learning aspect high. Unless if it is a team designated event then you can choose your boater partner or ask the Tournament Director to pair you with someone.

How do I join the Border City Bassmasters club?Joining is simple! Contact us by email at bordercitybassmasters@gmail.com or through one of the current club members. To become part of an OBN Bass Nation Club you must obtain a B.A.S.S member at (https://bassmaster.secure.darwin.cx/I2BCAN1M) and we take care of the rest!

How involved is becoming a member?You can be as involved as you want! We meet as a club once a month to discuss items as a club, new initiatives, ideas, events, planning, guest speakers, etc. You can also join the Executive team during election time, or you can become a Director (Youth, Conservation, Marketing, etc.). Or you can join as a committee member to be involved but with less time committment.
